Russkaya Mozaik a is a new course for students learning Russian as a foreign language at level B1 of CEFR and above. The course is designed for 80 classroom hours of study with a teacher. It aims to develop communication skills in social and cultural settings.
The textbook consists of 5 separate modules: Mother Nature Has No Bad Weather; Russia and Russians; Traditions and Customs; Let's Go to the Cinema!; What Russian People Like.
Each module is designed for 16 academic hours. The structure allows teachers to build an independent course of study based on students' objectives, purposes, motivation and available hours of study.
The course provides authentic literary, scientific and popular-science texts, as well as extracts from documentary and feature films and informative messages from the Internet.
