This textbook on practical stylistics and development of speech is designed for foreign students, mastering their Russian skills at level B2 of the CEFR (or Level II of the TORFL).
It is aimed to help the students to comprehend the stylistic riches of the Russian language: teach them how to differentiate between the stylistically neutral and coloured words and expressions of the formal and informal speech and how to use them appropriately in different communicative situations.
The textbook can be used at universities at the practice and theory of translation courses, special seminars on the Russian language stylistics, workshops on the Russian language at language schools. It can be also of interest to foreign teachers of Russian, journalists and translators
